Welcome!
AWARDS
In this time I earned a place on the Dean’s list on several occasions.
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest honor a girl scout can receive, it requires the scout to organize an event over the course of 50 hours or more. I chose to do a “pick up the park” health and safety fair at my local park. I oversaw another troop who created a “nature hide and seek” trail, repainted the pavilion and picnic tables, organized a health and safety fair with the local firehouse and EMT center, and advertised this event by fliers, radio, and word of mouth.
Kappa Pi is a national honors sorority that only recognizes students with above average grades and talent.
The Girl Scout Silver Award is the second highest honor a scout can receive. The scout must choose a project that helps their community and spend 30 or more hours following it through. I organized a group of people to replant the entirety of our local firehouse’s garden and repainted their sign.
All throughout high school I was a member of the national honors society and recorded over 100 hours of community service.
